Day by day
Arrive at Zürich Airport, where our Tour Manager will warmly welcome you to Switzerland, and transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore Zürich’s charming Old Town, the elegant Bahnhofstrasse, or simply relax after your journey. In the evening, celebrate the beginning of your Swiss adventure with a welcome cocktail reception followed by a grand welcome dinner with free-flowing selected beverages.
After breakfast, visit the spectacular Rhine Falls, Europe’s largest waterfall. Continue to the beautiful lakeside city of Lucerne to explore the iconic Chapel Bridge and the moving Lion Monument, with leisure time along the scenic waterfront. Later, drive through breathtaking Alpine landscapes to Central Switzerland, your mountain retreat for the next three nights.
Experience one of Switzerland’s most spectacular mountain excursions. Ride the world’s first revolving Rotair cable car to the summit of Mt. Titlis, walk across Europe’s highest suspension bridge — the Titlis Cliff Walk — explore the fascinating Glacier Cave and marvel at breathtaking panoramic Alpine views before returning to Engelberg.
Travel to the legendary Jungfraujoch — Top of Europe, Europe’s highest railway station. Explore the Ice Palace, Alpine Sensation and Sphinx Observatory while surrounded by magnificent glaciers. Later, spend time in the enchanting village of Grindelwald, one of Switzerland’s most beautiful mountain destinations, before returning to Central Switzerland.
After breakfast, travel to the charming resort town of Interlaken. Enjoy free time before boarding a scenic Lake Brienz cruise from Interlaken Ost to Iseltwald, home to the world-famous Crash Landing on You jetty, surrounded by crystal-clear turquoise waters and majestic mountains. Continue aboard the spectacular GoldenPass Express, one of the world’s most scenic panoramic train journeys, arriving in Lausanne.
Begin your day with a leisurely brunch overlooking the UNESCO World Heritage Lavaux vineyards, where terraced slopes meet the sparkling waters of Lake Geneva. Continue to Geneva for a guided city tour covering the Jet d’Eau, Flower Clock, United Nations district and the beautiful lakeside promenade. Later visit the charming town of Vevey, famous for its lakeside beauty, Charlie Chaplin heritage and Bollywood filming locations.
After breakfast, visit the magnificent Chillon Castle, Switzerland’s most photographed medieval castle, with a 30-minute guided tour and 20-minute wine tasting. Continue to the elegant lakeside resort of Montreux, famous for its flower-lined promenade and spectacular Alpine backdrop. Journey into the Valais region and visit the fascinating Leuk Skull Museum before proceeding to the Täsch region for an evening stroll through the magical Alpine mountains.
Board the historic Gornergrat Railway, one of the world’s finest mountain railways, and witness unforgettable panoramic views of the iconic Matterhorn, majestic glaciers and numerous Alpine peaks. Spend the afternoon exploring Zermatt’s boutique shops, cafés and charming streets.
Relax in comfort on one of the world’s greatest panoramic train journeys, crossing bridges, passing through tunnels, traversing the spectacular Oberalp Pass and admiring breathtaking mountain scenery from panoramic windows. Arrive in Andermatt and drive to Zürich. Visit the world-famous Lindt Home of Chocolate, then enjoy a guided city tour featuring the Old Town, Bahnhofstrasse and the shores of Lake Zürich. In the evening, celebrate with a grand farewell gala dinner.

Good to know
Yes — a Schengen visa issued by Switzerland, since every night of the Odyssey is spent there. Apply four to eight weeks before departure with the confirmation letter and hotel list we provide; your channel partner walks you through the VFS appointment and the paperwork.
Every included meal has a vegetarian option, and Jain preparation (no onion, garlic or root vegetables) is arranged at the welcome dinner, the gala dinner and the hotel restaurants when you tell us at booking. The lunch stops in Lucerne and Interlaken use Indian restaurants we know well.
Departures run November to March, so expect 0–8°C in the cities and well below freezing at Jungfraujoch and Mt. Titlis. Pack thermals, a warm waterproof jacket, gloves, a cap and shoes with grip; the coach, trains and hotels are heated, so layers you can shed work best.
Switzerland uses the Swiss franc (CHF), not the euro. With breakfasts, lunches, dinners, two drinks a day and tips included, most guests spend CHF 40–60 a day on coffee stops, souvenirs and optional rides; a forex card loaded in CHF plus a little cash for markets works well.
