Yes. Most Indian travellers apply for the Egyptian e-Visa online, or through the consulate, before departure; entry rules change from time to time, so your channel partner confirms the current requirement and the supporting documents as soon as your booking is confirmed.

Yes. Egyptian cooking is naturally generous to vegetarians — koshari, ful, ta’ameya, mezze and fresh breads — and every included meal has a vegetarian option. Jain preparation, without onion, garlic or root vegetables, is arranged at the hotels, on the Nile cruise and at the group dinners when you tell us at booking.

The Egyptian pound (EGP). Cards work in hotels, malls and larger restaurants; carry some cash for the bazaars, felucca rides and smaller museums. Most guests spend the equivalent of ₹1,500–₹2,500 a day on souvenirs, coffee stops and optional experiences.
